Light’s House

From the shadow of the mountain,
Tucked snug within its curve,
A house of light sends out its call
And asks how it may serve.

A source of hope for all who come;
A place to rest and pray;
A peak to draw your eyes up high;
A home where peace remains.

A vision larger than our dreams
Reminds us we are blessed
By One who knows more than our needs;
Who gifts us with His best.

Joy o’erflows it’s boundaries,
Touching sorrow’s pain;
Drawing wounded hearts to safety,
Under mercy’s reign.

Open to all, yet set apart,
A door of welcome sure,
Where we can set our burdens down,
And learn of Love so pure.
