Standing Ready

The call may come
I’ll face a choice
Will I stand ready
To hear the voice
That sends me out
From where I’m safe
From home and love
To danger’s face

Will I be willing
To turn my back
On things I’ve planned
And then to act
With a strong spirit
With a whole heart
A determined mind
To do my part

Yes, I’ll stand ready
I’ll heed the call
I’ll do my part
I’ll give my all
I’ll face the dangers
I’ll bear the cost
Upon my shoulders
Lest more be lost

Thank you for sharing your talent of writing inspirations from God. You give us His blessings once again, and it is comforting, soothing like a lullaby.
